We are happy that you have shown interest in our music school and hope that the pages following will clear any doubts you might have regarding our music institution. The ILM academy is a contemporary music school that teaches you to perform on the Guitar, Piano, DJ Console and the Production Console.
Music is universal; it is a language that breaks all boundaries. Messages can be conveyed by melody, emotion by subtle nuances. It is a language that we all innately love, and learn to appreciate, at a very young age. At ILM we aim to teach you this language in the discipline you choose.
At the ILM Academy the emphasis is on music learning. It is probably the most progressive music school you will find. Our intention though is to impart the knowledge that we have to you in the simplest way, and with ways that will help you absorb it faster. Our aim is to teach you to play the instrument of your choosing and play it well.

Let’s talk Music. At The ILM academy we feel that music is something that is innate to each individual. All of us associate with music in some way or fashion. Our Music learning though, is dependant mainly on what our exposure to music is. Our intention is to expose you to music, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Dance and more.
The second difference that you will find at the ILM Academy is that all our teaching staff are experts in the field of music in their own right. We have taken great care to assemble a team of the best musicians in the city, and have them impart the vast knowledge that they have of music.
Of course this would not be possible without technology, All the class studio’s, have the best equipment within them; Technics, Pioneer, Yamaha, M-Audio, Gibson to name a few. The facility is a wi-fi zone and has the necessary computers for internet usage. Rooms are outfitted with screens to view movies and video clips while we teach.
Basically , we will use any and every medium we can, to convey the message to you. To put it in a nutshell, we are here to show you music, and then train you to perform, yes perform in front of a large audience. All the while retaining the joy that the music brings to us.
So who are We?
ILM academy consists of, Nakul Vagale – MD at NXOS which is the parent company to the ILM academy. Nakul Vagale is a qualified hotelier and entrepreneur. With him he brings a wealth of business and hotel experience and is the man behind the scenes.
Our team also consists of Sean de Souza, the guy with the ideas! Based on his own experiences of learning music from when he was a child, he and the team at NXOS felt quality music education in contemporary styles was required in Bangalore. A program that will teach you music first, then show you the correct way to play music and then encourage students to learn for themselves.
Sean also heads the DJ department and has been a professional DJ for the last 13 years. He brings with him experiences and accumulated knowledge; backed by a drive that leads the team at NXOS to achieve greater heights.
